The World of Bees + Why They're Essential
Bees are behind a third of all the food we eat, including fruits, vegetables, chocolate, nuts, and coffee. Join us on the Farm on May 8 at noon to learn more about beekeeping and the microcosm that is the hive. We’ll follow a bee’s life’s journey from when she first emerges from her cell to her final flight. We will check out the Farm's hives and see the bees in action. Bee expert Shelby Shulman will answer your questions about the awe-inspiring world of honeybees. Children/families are welcome!
