Chef Kathleen of Culinary Kids brings Summer Cooking Adventures to Tim’s Kitchen. This class is age appropriate, with hands-on cooking and baking designed to impart skills through fun recipes. The kids will get creative and gain confidence in their cooking skills. This introductory class includes seasonal sweet and savory snacks using kitchen tools and equipment to learn baking and cooking, measuring, math, and science. Classes are packed with the bounty from our WTF gardens. At each class, we visit the gardens and animals and prepare the recipes with items we find.
Some of what we will make: Berry Cobbler with WTF Honey, Cowboy Cookout with Cornbread, Peas, Please Salad from the garden, Fruity Sorbets with zesty citrus and fruits and Asian Noodle Salad packed with vegetables and make-your-own dressing.
