Let your kid reconnect with nature and learn the ins and outs of organic farming and gardening through hands-on instruction in Wakeman Town Farms Green Teen Club. Green Teens will work together to help maintain the Wakeman gardens while learning about composting, and taking care of the various farm animals (rabbits, ducks, goats, alpacas, and sheep). Building projects and exploring how to live a sustainable lifestyle are also a part of this program. The apprentice model is great for students who like to ‘get their hands dirty’ while learning about the environment and having fun at the same time.
