Giving Tuesday - Dec. 3, 2024 - Your Generosity Can Change Lives—and Donations are Doubled!
This Giving Tuesday, we’re thrilled to share an incredible opportunity to make your generosity go even farther. Thanks to the generosity of matching donors Tom and Jeanne Capassae and Ellen Lautenberg and Doug Handel, every dollar you give will be matched—up to $7,500!
Your donation will support inclusive education programs for children with developmental disabilities and community outreach initiatives for underserved women and children, helping us build a more inclusive, engaged, and empowered community.
Why Your Support Matters:
Everyone deserves hands-on experiences that foster growth, confidence and connection. With your help, we can:
Expand Inclusive Special Education (SpEd) Programming to include weekly sensory-friendly farm classes for ages 3-11+ and cooking clubs for ages 7-14.
Increase Community Outreach Programming by partnering with organizations like Help for Kids, AWARE CT, Homes with Hope, and Horizons to bring low-cost farm experiences and cooking classes to underserved families.
This fall, we piloted these programs, and the results were inspiring:
🌱 Children with developmental disabilities thrived in farm-based classes.
🍳 Women and children from local nonprofits gained confidence in cooking classes.
🤝 Families from underserved communities connected through meaningful farm experiences.
Your Gift Matched = Double the Impact
Every dollar you give will be matched up to $7,500, meaning your gift goes twice as far!
$100 = Provides materials and supplies for multiple classes
$500 = Sponsors a week of inclusive or outreach programming for a child or family
$1,000 = Provides scholarships for several children to attend SpEd or outreach programs
Your donation of $100 becomes $200, and $1,000 becomes $2,000—helping us reach more children and families in need.
